Archbishop of Canterbury admits he has doubts about God

Haha yeah
Or maybe it's an admission that doubting is very reasonable considering religion is more and more obviously bullshit, so he's trying to "claim" doubt as some sort of good thing. Feel free to send me a private message.

I could buy that. The young pastor at the church I used to attend would occasionally talk about how doubts are a normal thing. That always struck me like a salesperson talking about buyer's remorse. The idea is when the feelings of doubt creep in, you think "oh, that's normal" instead of "oh, this doesn't make sense".
It strikes me as odd that people would think a church started by murderous tyrant would have anything relevant to say about Christianity.
The Church of England should just admit it was all a mistake and allow their members to return to Catholicism, or drop Christianity altogether. You just described every christian church.

Hmm, what is god if not a murderous tyrant? Has anyone read the old testament?

Left out 'horndog' too.
Nothin' wrong with being a horndog, though.
Doubt is only present when the Holy Spirit is not. It is impossiable to doubt God when He is literarly apart of your life. Often times people doubt religion, when this doubt is married to an absolutist idea that their particular religion can be the only valid version of Christianity, that equals to doubt in God.
I kills me that it is easier for people to doubt God rather than doubt the idea that thier religion is lacking in some way. The two are not mutuially exclusive. RE: Archbishop of Canterbury admits he has doubts about God

I -am- of the opinion that any given persons view of religion is lacking. For example, I don't think that god would be a petty tyrant, ala your conception of it, if such a being existed. I don't think that people such as yourself would be rewarded for the faith you espouse, if there were such a being.
