Christians' continuing efforts to shield themselves and their children from the corrupt secular culture by creating their own parallel culture of bad books, laughably lame TV/films, and awful music is so transparently desperate that it's just sad -- and I wholeheartedly approve. If anything, I hope they ramp up their efforts. It will be funny to see the oldsters scratch their heads and wonder why so many young Christians in years to come will flee from this crap in droves. They'll discover that, for many, the power of the holy spirit is no match for relevance -- or just plain coolness.
