Yes it does, I've always harped on you about your revolving door threats.

C'mon Hammy ...you know I'm joking...

stick around man ... post when you get a spare minute here or there...
No need to be obsessed with this place...

It shouldn't be an everything or nothing scenario ... That's usually for extremists and theists...
Just be like a normal person... Dunno

keep that music happening...

Everyone needs a break from time to time. No big deal.

I'm sorry I called you a dick, Fireball. I am touchy about being compared to EP because I fucking hate that guy.

You're not a dick. You're a really nice guy and probably had no idea how hard a comparison to EP hits me below the belt.

Crying wolf is about lying about something that didn't really happen and expecting people to believe you when it does happen. Failing to follow through with something when you keep trying is more like failing to ween yourself off an addiction despite good intentions, rather than crying wolf. And it's not like I'm ever promising anything. I'm just trying. I get it that people are probably sick of hearing me announce my efforts only to see me fail (but if anyone says I can't be trying just because I keep failing then that's a huge pet peeve of mine).... I really ought to not always announce everything that's on my mind.

Thing is... this thread is for people who honestly take those breaks... not make an empty proclamation, kudos a bunch of posts and just never leave. Honestly - that shit gets old and I'm happy to agree with Mooney on this.

I'm honestly trying to take breaks.

You've said many times that I'm insincere and you're just plain wrong about that so your opinion doesn't count Tongue

I mean, for starters, I'm still trying to quit now. It's not like I've changed my mind at all. I'm still trying. These things take time for me, it's not as easy for me to quit AF as a lot of people ... it's always hard to quit something you're kind of obsessed with. I guess maybe it will be more of a slow fade than a sudden stop. But hopefully I will be able to stop. Because I want to have better things to do and I think this place is going downhill. I need to stop using posting as a distraction.
