My contention is that it got drastically worse after he got his diagnosis. Which means he was under control before, but something changed.

Yep, he got another tool for his manipulation bag.

Come on CL/LFC, we have several people here who admit to being diagnosed with ASD. How many of them use it as an entitlement for bad behavior?

ASD is a spectrum. He may have certain difficulties that others in the spectrum don't have.

Anyway, I don't see why it should matter. Autism or not, he is someone who is easily provoked and agitated. Knowing this, I choose not to provoke him. Simple. I've corrected his behavior on multiple occassions, and it is possible to do so without poking the bear. I can't control other people's behavior, but I can control my own.

And trust me, he's been mean to me before as well. I will never forget, 2 years ago, when he said on the forum that I was a bad person and that my personality/morals make me unattractive. All because I disagreed with him on a particular issue, even though I had always been nice to him. I just let it go because that's all I can do, and I see no point in upsetting him further.

The rest of us don’t have to do that. Backing down from him is enabling him to excuse his behavior, which can’t possibly help him do better in life. If I had known I’d get special treatment for having OCD, I would’ve mentioned it more often. Wink

Look upon me and look after me in all my affairs,
for if Thou entrustest me to myself, I will be incapable before myself
and fail to undertake that in which my best interest lies.
If Thou entrustest me to Thy creatures, they will frown upon me,
and if Thou makest me resort to my kinsfolk, they will refuse to give to me;
if they give, they will give little and in bad temper,
making me feel long obliged and blaming me much.
So through Thy bounty, O God, free me from need, through Thy mightiness, lift me up,

Right because giving in and babying him solves so much. Nope. He needs to grow the fuck up and stop manipulating others.

Jfc MK. Stop the fucking preaching already. No one here cares.

Like I said. His behvior can be called out and corrected without purposely provoking him.

How? The boy doesn’t take much provocation, and it’s unfair to put the onus on others. It’s his behavior that’s the problem, and no one here is enough of an expert on autism to say that any of it has anything to do with his developmental disorder.

Also, you name one time you’ve corrected him on anything. He’s NEVER taken correction or tried to change in any meaningful way.

He will always act like any criticism, no matter constructive, is always an attack. Clearly he has you fooled so you make excuses for him.

I'm glad he's gone. He doesn't deserve to come back after what he's said to and about several people, including myself.

If he get's it, and he certainly can, it will help him.

I say this while I know some of you will think I am taking advantage of the situation and it's true I am. It's in moments in darkness and despair where the family of the reminders help the souls awaken and I hope Hammy experiences divine weather and is stirred by winds from the Compassionate Lord and I hope he sees through the false hopes and delusions of putting trust into other then God.

Hammy - You are to fight for you soul. Forget everything you assumed. Go on a true journey for truth where you silently learn and not argue.

You can do this. Even if no one believes in you, you believe in yourself.

Philosophy being neglected is a sign of black magic on society, making them prefer stupidity over wisdom. That's all. You know it's value but you must search deeply.

You can find the truth - as you see - people are never to be valued above God or else, you will be abandoned and disgraced by putting your trust into people.

He's been fine with me when I called him out for the vile things he said to Neo just a few weeks ago.

@MK: Then preach to his ass outside this place.  Have enough respect for others and stop already.

And he jumped my shit in three different threads when I said the same thing.  But I suppose you'd give him a pass because he was nice to you.

Stop enabling him already. That's not helping him.
