Mystic, I know what it's like to want to leave a place and not being able to do it... but in this case it's pretty simple. Ask someone you know and trust to log on with your password, reset the password to a random sequence of letter (copy paste it into the confirm reset thingy). They won't remember what it is. The only problem could be if you have access to your reset email. Maybe you could create a random email ID and use that as your reset email, and forget the password to that email too? It's a lot of work, but if can put 6 exclamation marks in a post, I'd think you'd be willing to put it in.

Occasionally I get extremely despaired at the mere thought of all the good people I have run across in this forum  who have disappeared without a trace!

Seriously, my heart feels heavy. I think people don't realize how much they're missed when they go, so, here's a place for everyone to post 'On vacation' or 'Screw you guys' updates in the advent that they are leaving for a certain period of time, or for all of time!

Most people don't give a cräp about anyone but themselves. They give lip service to caring, but that's about it. When it comes time to make the choice, the outcome is completely predictable.
