I am also going to take a break, possibly for good. As much as I've enjoyed my time here, I do not like the direction the site is heading. It's just not fun any more. But, far more importantly, I'm not sure I like who I am when I'm here any more and that may be the bigger reason it's no longer fun.

You're right about that.  The other day on the thread announcing the civility forum VulcanLogician spoke up for C_L and was shot down pretty harshly by Shell.  It was funny on one level but I'm not sure he gets her well enough to put it in perspective.  I then joked about it assuming it would roll off his back.  But he hasn't posted since then.  Now I'm feeling like shit for not checking in with him sooner.  I've sent him P.M.'s here and at another forum we both use.  No word back yet.

I'll probably take a little break too, at least until he comes back or I hear from him.  It would be a big loss to me to lose him this way.

IMO roughly 6 people took advantage of Tib's good nature. I sincerely hope that this is rectified. Try this tactic as a bunch of atheists at a religious site and see what happens. FWIW, I'm already signing up at other sites. Not that I'm all that, if you know what I mean, I'm just some greasy guy on the internet. There's only so much that is tolerable, though. Sads.
