Weaponisation of Ebola by Muslim terrorists

RE: Weaponisation of Ebola by Muslim terrorists
You want to know whether simply dismissing 'Africa' as an homogeneous entity is wrong and claiming that aid (Still not defined, either) is indistinguishable from other elements within a given state's economy to the average person on the ground is also wrong?

You feel you need to ask these questions?

Take it apart all you wish. At least you'd be adding something to the conversation.

Why you're at it, try looking up debt servicing and debt interest payments to given banks and central/supranational finance entities relative to aid streams and see if that convinces you that input from non African states in terms of aid is a tiny minuscule amount compared to what's taken.

I trust readers of this thread will note the evasion by FM to provide anything substantive in response to my requests for elucidation.

Indeed. It's difficult though, when taking into account the lack of infection control and available resources in the state's where it spreads. Should be less of an excuse in developed nations, though.

I can only work with what you gave me, the one working link you could muster up in your frantic google search to justify you contrary position.

Instead of just telling me why you believe what you believe.

And no, whilst I care about believing in as many truth claims as possible. I will not be researching your points for you. Even though you clearly seem quite inept ad doing so yourself

The aid which makes up 15% of their 45 billion GNI is but one aspect, and a substantial one. Clocking in at nearly 15 billion.
Then you have the world banks wiping out debt, which almost matched its yearly aid cost in 2010.

How is this not substantial, how could their economy not collapse in on itself without aid when it makes up 15% of the money coming in ? Half a billion of that aid was humanitarian aid, meaning we had to literally buy the stuff some of their people needed and go in there to help them because the other 14.5 billion we gave them wasn't enough wasn't enough.

This I'll add, includes the nearly 2 billion in peacekeeping operations. Without the financial aid and peacekeeping this country would collapse in on itself.

The main point you were trying to make was that, we make money from oil and owe them something........utterly laughable.

They are sitting on a resource they have no use for without us or can even get to, its only value is the value WE put on it.

I'll reiterate my initial point, we have and are building a HUGE population bubble with these African countries that far exceed their societal infrastructure.
One day we wont be able to keep the peace, or provide aid and they will murder one another or starve. Most likely both.
One day something like Ebola is going to come along and EVERYBODY on the planet is going to suffer because their governments cant govern that many people.

Why isn't the west really doing anything about this, doesn't it seem plausible ?

What options are available ?

Don't anyone say more "aid to Africa"............. yes, we know, there's a mess in Africa the aid must flow because they can't clean it up themselves. As per usual.

We don't even have screenings for people traveling to the UK, as far as I'm aware. Is it really so far fetched an idea ?

Muslims don't have to weaponize ebola...tourists are doing it.

And I'll even go one further, sure oil companies are profiteering OFF OF US not them. They are over charging us for oil. If we stopped them doing it WE would be better off, not African countries where it is oiled.
Unless your saying we should over pay for oil because they cant manage a society and pay them extra............ which is essentially just more aid

You call me inept despite the comments you made earlier about not insulting someone's character in a debate. The nature of how the figures were garnered is utterly irrelvant to their presentation in the previous posts. Simply saying 'frantic' as another attempt to discredit them actually is meaningless.

Anyway, thanks for calling me inept. I think that reveals you to be a hypocrite and actually not interested in dialogue.

I want to again remind readers of the thread that, to this point, FM hasn't provided a single piece of research or evidence to justify any of his assertions that Africa is a homogeneous entity nor that aid is directly proportional to population levels in given African states. I have attempted numerous times to garner elucidations to his (repeated) assertions but have been given nothing back. You can read it from the beginning here:

Yeah, you provided the data for me ironically.

If you had of just told me why you thought we got more out of Africa than we give in aid, why you believe in what you believe, instead of trying to bury me in bullshlt you could google I wouldn't have had any. Your 'evidence' at best does nothing for your argument, and at worst is evidence to the contrary, calling that inept sourcing is an understatement.

The only working link you provided is proof in favour of what I said. Also, your argument that if we stopped oil companies stealing from us is noted. It still doesn't help the African country you used as an example. Unless you are suggesting we let them over charge because they cant maintain their society.
Argue that if you will. But call it what it is........... more aid.

I suggest throwing money at this problem is creating a population bubble in these places, where their societal construct can't service the needs of the population because we are artificially boosting their numbers with aid. Too which you were essentially arguing, 'more aid' to fix the problem.

I told you my perception on this matter is heavily influenced by constant social media reinforcement and was open to the possibility of being wrong. That whilst I could easily find evidence, as you proved, it does nothing for the reason why I believe it is the case anyway.

When I asked you to repay with the same honesty you went, as I said, to look for a filler instead of being intellectually honest. I was open to the idea I was wrong, and still am, you never were.
Now your calling for people to take note that you provided evidence......... ergo you win. It's not about winning. I actually wanted to know where you got this idea from and why you hold it, and still do if you decide to answer.

Jumping the Fox-fear-bandwaggon at full speed?

Ebola's pretty hard to catch. You have to be directly exposed to the bodily fluids of the infected.
