...I doubt I've ever known anyone more obnoxious. Except my dad.
Wanna think of EP times 1000 (fuck knows why you'd want to)... that's my dad.

I feel rather insulted by the lack of faith some people showed in me, but I appreciate the support of the majority of you guys for exposing this numb nuts.
I hate to discuss these matters publicly, but rob, I find that unfair - I for one had no reason to doubt your word, as I told you, and plenty others believed you too I'm sure, but we can't vote for a ban based on that! That's never how it works, and it shouldn't.
I wasn't referring to that, I'm sorry you took it that way. I'm just talking about the discussion in the thread/on the forum, not staff action. I meant the forum population as a whole.
I shouldn't have written it regardless. Some people were, I felt, very rude and I snapped back.

Ok, that's important to clarify!

An awful lot of what I said has been misinterpreted. Bad day for my communications skills. I don't feel there's any point hashing it out further, as he is toast now.
Apologies to anyone I upset or inconvenienced. I was trying to say just enough to respond to statements made about me; the discussion went further than I intended it to.

It's horrible when shit comes out of miscommunication.
Indeed I'm glad EP is gone.

I feel rather insulted by the lack of faith some people showed in me, but I appreciate the support of the majority of you guys for exposing this numb nut. The same could be said for you. You were rather critical of a group of mods and admins just trying to do the job by the forum rules. In the end, you're still thinking this had something to do with people exposing him. I'm pretty sure it had to do with him erasing posts, given that he broke that rule today and he was banned today. My therapist once said to me, "I like you, but you're not that fucking important." She was right.

It's against the rules to go back and blank out your posts? I l have done it before to delete stuff.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I have changed the wording of my.posts before, once I reread them and realized that my wording was not saying what I wanted to convey. And sometimes, if I know the edit will take a while, I'll edit in "undergoing edit" as a note.
Never just snipped one, though.

It is against the rules under the section "Disrupting Forum Functionality" and usually is applied when you find someone clearing their posts in an active discussion, effectively creating large holes within said discussion. Such an act is inherently destructive to the forums and is treated as such.
We don't react strongly unless it's a major issue. This time it was a major issue.
