I think I speak for the majority of staff when I say we really don't mind criticism, or this thread wouldn't be allowed to exist.
I think everyone who posts in this thread should be summarily banned for forum disloyalty.
Oh, wait ...

Glad he's gone, such an asshole.

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House
“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom

Regarding reporting posts, it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation for theists. I've been through it. I had never reported a post. Then, after noting double standards being applied, someone (Tiberius IIRC) asked why I had never reported such things. So, I started reporting as I saw them. After a while I got complaints on the reporting, so I stopped.

Then you're reading it through some kind of rose tinted glasses.
The first two responses I made to frodo in that thread were directly on topic to what the thread was about. No problems.
I didn't post for another 6/7 pages until I re-read and noticed he had since directly accused the staff of trolling. The thread had since been pretty much derailed. Myself and other staff asked him to back that up. That's not unreasonable considering the levity of his accusations. I tried to give him a friendly nudge to stop being a dick. Frodo's a big boy, a few words like "take the stick out your arse" wouldn't piss him off, I know him well enough to know he would take it as banter. When he wouldn't back up his claims though, and still made several sly comments since, I'll admit, I did get quite pissed with the guy. But maintaining your cool doesn't get you any brownie points. People are allowed to express anger on here when they're being accused of something there is no evidence for. When he continues to accuse staff of trolling without backing it up, it starts to become provocative and trolling from himself.
But like I said, it wasn't that thread alone that justified his ban. It was simply one of many factors, and he'd been warned before about accusing staff of trolling without backing it up.
Let's not even pretend like he's the victim. I said that in the thread. It's what you christian folk seem to love doing.

If anyone files a report that in their view raises a rule breach, it will be assessed and discussed appropriately. Whatever a person's religious affiliation happens to be has no bearing on the matter whatsoever. Whether the report is justified is our job to decide, not yours. It's a lot like reporting someone to the police - that you think the person is guilty is surprisingly irrelevant.
What we don't appreciate and will come down hard on is abuse of the report system - making prank calls if you like.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I would never ever make a report saying that Cthulhu should be banned for some silly reason I can't remember. Would never, have never, never ever, and honestly it won't happen again
But seriously, I try to use the report button wisely.

Imagine...someone on an internet forum accused someone else of trolling...
Maybe mods should be issued some lube so their butts don't get hurt so easily. Ask Exlax, he's probably got some quality stuff.

The best part is it looks like you think accusing Esquilax of having lube is an insult. LOL

You sound more butthurt than any of the staff.
