My condolences, CofH. Perhaps the lesson is: lay off the PM's. If it can't be said in a thread it may be better off not to say it.

I agree with Spooky about the internet. We get a (perhaps) false sense of intimacy. But part of what makes that intimacy possible is our insulating privacy. Weird alright.

I am inclined to agree whateverist. 

You can not imagine the remorse CoH has articulated regarding this societal fax pas. I am concerned for his mental stability and so will continue to be in contact with him.

Ladies & Gentlemen, please heed our request that this issue should remain closed. To examine the evidence further will only fuel the nightmares I will get tonight. There was no choice as our hand was forced. The lack of details from us has a real reason to be.

I meant to say that you should try to defend the guy without giving specifics about other people (and your somewhat patronizing psychoanalysis of them). That seemed inappropriate to me.

Having been on staff, I highly doubt they would permanently ban a long-time member on "claims" of abuse. I've seen Creed get angry. I've also seen people with problems of his ilk go off in all kinds of ways on other people. I'm sorry it happened, but don't blame someone for asking that a member with issues be taken off their back, if that is indeed what happened. Blaming a victim of someone else's victimhood is still blaming a victim.
