I agree with Spooky about the internet.  We get a (perhaps) false sense of intimacy.  But part of what makes that intimacy possible is our insulating privacy.  Weird alright.

I am inclined to agree whateverist.

You can not imagine the remorse CoH has articulated regarding this societal fax pas. I am concerned for his mental stability and so will continue to be in contact with him.

My son suffers from bipolar disorder. Sometimes when he is depressed, he views the world in a very negative, unrealistic way.   Hopefully, CoH is not going through that. Tell him hello from me.

Bummer about Creed. Doubtful many of you will believe this but I had a soft spot in my heart for him. Reminded me of myself 30 years ago in some ways.

We're not saying, and speaking as a member of the staff, we would appreciate it if those who might know more would respect the wishes of those involved and keep things similarly confidential.

I never had a problem with him. We seemed to have a mutual respect. But then I don't usually search people's posts, so I'm sure I'mmissing something.

Regardless, best wishes to him. Hope he gets what he needs.

ETA: Sorry, I posted before I read the last few posts.

Perhaps we could ban John or alpha male just for kicks. We don't do that...

Heck, I'm opening myself up to a lynching, if we could just get one more player...

BTW...I call hypocrisy when I see it, but I should say more often that this is the best-run atheist board going. Keep up the good work.
