Differing degrees of rape?

Ok, I appreciate an incredibly difficult debate for some. I learnt quite a bit, I hope I didn't offend anybody unnecessarily.
But it's got to the point now, for me of an argument... so I'm bailing this thread. Thanks for all contributions. You're the only one getting upset as far as I can see. I am here, and willing to try to have a discussion with you. I'm just...I'm not a mind reader so I need you to be more explicit with your posts so I'll know exactly what you're trying to say that's all.  
So shall we discuss if murder is better or worse if the victim was going to die in a couple days anyway?

But what if it's your mum and she trusts you and she would die soon anyway... is that still murder?

Women have been brainwashed that they have to keep their garden pure for just the right farmer. In the same way that many women feel religious society angst after an abortion, they may also feel over-indignant to the physical violation by a partial degree of course. Why do human beings that only differ by genitalia react so differently to forced sexual intrusion by someone of the opposite sex? (Gay sex brings in other dynamics if the victim is not gay) I think the damage caused is key to determining the appropriate punishment.

There's no "to some extent" sex without consent is rape. Period. |
