But back to my question, no cow would have planned a revolt.
How do you know how a cow would have evolved in the future?

Are you suggesting the humans evolved to the point where Neo could exist?

The problem with the question is that the premise is nonsensical. It doesn't make any sense at all to feed a mammal in order to convert the food into electrical energy. Just burn the stuff and attach a turbine to it.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Who cares about sense when it includes bullet time

@Gawdzilla: I am suggesting, in future, a cow revolt is not unlikely.

I think it was more of a last ditch effort to end the war while securing a power source. Using cows wouldn't have stopped humans from destroying the machines.

Then again, I haven't seen Animatrix in ten years, so I probably pulled that out of my ass.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Better question would be

instead of going through the effort of making the human farms and the matrix, why couldn't they just build solar panels which reached beyond the clouds

Or simply clean up the atmosphere so they don't have to hyper-engineer the solution?

Yeah, that's the part I'm confused on.

I am really into movies, one of my favorites is The Matrix. I had a discussion with a co-worker earlier and I was amazed by his answer so I have a question to anyone else who has seen it here;

Pretty simple. Would you take the blue pill or the red pill? I will try and add a poll to make it easier.
I'd take both.

Would that be division by Neo?

And I'm asking why you think that. Cows are stupid.
