We should look to the Bible to learn about God, and rely on scientists to inform us about science. As someone once put it, "The Bible tells us how to go to heaven; science tells us how the heavens go. Science can give us the age of rocks; the Bible can give us the Rock of Ages."

Actually, the Bible teaches you nothing about God - it teaches you what a group of nomadic semi-savages thought about God. For what it's worth, 'Rock of Ages' dates from the middle of the 17th century. You won't find the phrase in the Bible. Boru

That's a good start. Would you be willing to go a little further and say whether your confidence in the accuracy of science is greater or if you are even more confident in your understanding of the biblical recipe for entering heaven? I find the age of rocks far more interesting than your childish bullshit. Grow up. There's no evidence for any of the gods invented by the human imagination. |
