Why does God use an army to fight, when He Could Do it alone?

Normally, Alice, I'd say use iron against Yahweh because he can be defeated by iron chariots. Although if it hurts you too, then I'll take your advice about the silver.

Good video to watch, if you want to know how common the Jesus story really is.

Depends on how their fighting. Me and my 'younger' sister often took it to video games to 'hammer it out'. I'd popcorn that up, I would.
You are an exception, you don't count Tongue

But by fighting I meant angels vs angels(fallen) type duel.

Therein lies the difference between the Danu and the Demons. Iron is why the gods have forsaken your world.

I'm just a bit more daring than are most Smile I get it even worse, because I'm also a 'ghost'... bit of a boggart, depending on who you ask.

And how, dear OP, should we imagine this epic battle that obviously goes on for Millennia?

Is it some sort of Wallhalla where the fallen rise in the evening to celebrate together? Does god allow Satan to create some new demons to replenish his ranks, whilst he's busy making new angels to make up for the fallen? Is there some kind of weapons race involved? Does god's army have the holy hand grenade in it's arsenal?

According to your description, it seems to be some kind of sports, since you say, god could crush Satan anytime if he just wanted? So are god and Satan sharing some dope or a beer, whilst watching the carnage? And most of all, which station has the rights for the event? Or is it syndicated?

Who?

Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon. Kind of like how in the modern day, you wouldn't use a silver sword, but a sterling silver sword.

Science has, with natural materials, silently defeated the spiritual. Have you *EVER* seen a spiritual ritual that used *iron* or *silver*? If you have, it was either fake... or intended to bind or destroy our kind.

A bit like SMITE I suppose, since as per religion, both parties involved are just gods plaything.

It's a bit sad when people want to make stories explaining Humanity's greatest successes as being gifted to, or stolen from, some other power. How else could we figure otu something as complex and mysterious as...fire?

Fire is a true enigma. Throughout my several camping trips I have never been able to grasp how ancient humans would light a fire without a match or lighter.
