Sounds like you're about mid way. Ya, I-40, and 440, and 540... all circles around circles. I'm not a fan of driving out there. I'll take my flat, straight coastal plains' roads. Seeing how you've only been here a few months, not sure if you've had a chance to hit up the beaches yet. But the Outerbanks are awesome. If you ever go (or go again) to the Nags Head or Kitty Hawk area, and you like seafood, you gotta check out Captain George's restaurant in Kill Devil Hills. You can thank me later lol.
