God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

All the people I meet that's moved here from different parts of the country say they came here because of the people and their friendly ways, we here in the south see it as an evasion into our way of life. So those who dislike the Christianity of the south can just stay away, it want hurt our feelings.

You know you can be a good christian and not insult people or belittle them i'm pretty sure if jesus existed he would put shame on you. Were all humans here lets treat each other equally.

Geeze, now while we don't need to blaspheme and cuss in every context every minute of our lives everywhere, do not make presumptions as to what others can or cannot handle.

I have been on line every day for 13 years, and I have been equated to Hitler, been equated to evil, and the word "atheist" alone to many is used as a slur. There are far worse things in the world than being offended.

Part of "equality" is the ability to bitch about things that bother you. If someone says something you don't like, fine, you can ask them to stop, but if they do not stop, then it is up to you if you keep interacting with them. When someone gets in my face, I either respond, or if it bothers me that much, I part company.

Now while this individual board is privately owned, it can conduct it's own rules the way it sees fit and all the guests here have to abide by them. Out side that as far as government is concerned in free societies we are not free from hearing things we don't like. The reason you protect offensive speech, is not because you like it all the time, but because you yourself may want to say something you know will offend others.

So please speak for yourself not others. To me it is a comfort issue, not right or wrong. You can only decide for you what you are comfortable with. Outside that board rules are the final word.

Thanks, I've read the belch. But not every belch warrants a reply. It's the internet after all.

So, watching videos about the evils people do to one another is a sign of a lack of a social life and a cry for attention?

Wow. I must really need attention because I watched a doco about the Holocaust over the weekend.

When you said 'evasion', did you mean 'invasion'?

Edit: I see I was ninja'd on this point by Min.

The South is going to change. Everyplace changes eventually. There's not much you can do about it in a free country. If the South had better ideas, the preponderance of the flow would be going the other way. And I say this as someone who has lived in the South for most of their life.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
