I don't even pay attention to them. However, in pro/club soccer, we do see sponsors on the front of jerseys. This is the source of fierce debate within the soccer fan community. some hate it. Others love it. Others are neutral, but see the advantages of it, to varying degrees.
I like the look, depending on amount of sponsors and who the sponsor is.

DQ,
The commercials on the Superbowl are the costliest going, they are also among the best for creativity. Many end up on Youtube.
Commercials pay the bills and big bucks go into them.
For football here, the car and beer corporations are major players.

Well written, showing enthusiasm for what you like.
I am an outsider, don't have a competitive bone in me,
I see football as a strategic game.
Sports also gives players a sense of accomplishment which is cool.
My son Jeremy is a Bills fan (they sure won't be playing Sunday due to the Snowmageddon we have been in)
so the TV is usually on here when they are playing.
Only issue I have is let those who benefit from the stadiums pay for them,
but since I consider we are nearly out of time- it no longer matters.
Took an ugly turn right at the end there, Prof., wouldn't you say? Hey, just out of curiosity, what day do you think this whole thing might end? Just a guesstimation.

OH FFS!....not again?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

What!? No, Rhythm, not a whole big production with a countdown. No bells and whistles. You misunderstand. This'll be different. I'm just curious about the Professor of Doom's best guesstimation for when the world ends. That stands in stark contrast to a well thoughtout, meticulously calculated prediction that we're used to seeing from him. See, harmless. I'm certain no big thing will be made of this.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

I thought that last sentence might be noticed.
I'm sorry, I apparently love to create interesting commentary with my
bizarre thoughts.
It is great fun getting much amusement from you guys.
Thank you again, and I hope I entertain you also. Really.
Here in Democratic WNY we have paid for 2 stadiums and got one.
Yeah, the one that is currently filled with several thousand tons of snow.
The country, state and county are basically broke, running on borrowing.
And the talk here is how we need a new one.

It's fascinating, isn't it? Not much has changed since the times of the pharaohs and their building projects. I remember as a young wannabe Egyptologist (9 years old or so), I couldn't understand the importance of building a large thing to the economy and power of a State. I would read about the dynastic luls and think, "Why not just build a large thing? Worked before."

Perhaps Lewis Black was a pharaoh?
