If you consider that the rock consciousness is in a dormant stage that it is not stupid at all.
Consciousness goes in degree.
It can be low near zero like in a rock or can be 100% consciousness as in God.
Who told you that the same consciousness in a rock is the same in a plant or in an animal or in a human being or in the cosmic consciousness mind?
You jump to conclusion far too quickly and in this way you fail badly.
Among the rocks or the mineral in general there are different degree of consciousness.
Take uranium.
The consciousness within had enough to be inactive and in a bondage.
After million of years in bondage the consciousness within want be free that is why uranium and other elements show the energy within while most of the rocks do not.
