I see. A bunch of protestors were walking down the street, peacefully protesting, minding their own business, when a bunch of cops, without provocation, just started wailing away on them for no reason at all, whatsoever. Uh huh.

Hehehe, I was present (though not a participant) in both the Boston and Lexington riots. Made me feel kind of nostalgic for my service days. As Min noted....seemed to be a marked absence of armored vehicles and snipers (though that would have really made the experience complete for me....ah well). Plenty of pasty white chests a solo cups though. Def wasn't worried that I'd get shot by a cop, though the thought of one of those "accidental discharges" probably crossed my mind a few times. I never heard the gunshots at the second Lex riot - buts it's difficult to hear small arms fire over general chaos.

Seriously he makes animal noises and charges an armed man with no gun then gets shot multiple times and "doesn't change speeds" you'd have too be fucking high to believe that shit.

Just one detail. The police had an arbitrary "end time" set to the protest "after sundown". The use of the word "sundown" was one of many public relations blunders as this word, perhaps you might be unaware, is a very racially charged one.

Certain towns in America came to be known as "sundown towns". There used to be, during the days of segregation, a sign posted warning minorities, "N-----, don't be here after sundown". Any African American not heeding that sign and walking about the town after sundown was risking his/her life.

When the still peaceful demonstrations didn't end at at the arbitrary time set by the police, then the police began wailing on them.

Is there somewhere that has any analysis of the evidence presented to the Grand Jury that isn'y massively partisan with hardline pre-drawn conclusions one way or another? I'm trying to investigate this issue as best I can but all I see are articles saying Wilson did everything right or Wilson is Hitler.

This is what all of us should want. The only thing that needs to be done to get to problem solving is to accept that a problem exists.
