I am also curious which you would choose for a companion-

You forgot to add the part where the companion with freedom to be herself will be killed if she does not adhere to your rules, hence rendering that freedom somewhat meaningless. If you want to talk in terms of metaphor, the tree of knowledge of good and evil is not "KNOWLEDGE" but knowledge of "THE LAW" that which we are confined to....the bar that God has set that we consistently fail to achieve.

It's not an opinion, its spelled out in the Bible. You'd have to read the Bible cover to cover to even begin to grasp what the Lord is trying to convey in his Love letter to His Creation (mankind). Even then most will not be able to see it for themselves, unless they humble themselves before God and ask for wisdom.
