Music that speaks to you

Music that speaks to you
Have you ever found that one song that just sort of tells you something, makes you feel like it was written for and / or about you? If so, post it here! Smile

One of my favorite would have to be Force of Nature by Pearl Jam. It's on their newest album and after I found the meaning behind it, I was stunned how well it fit. My girlfriend has manic depression, so I'm frequently put in a place where I have to help her and be hurt myself...the song just made me feel good about doing that, and reenforced what i already knew. Eels - Railroad man. In fact pretty much everything from Eels appeals to me like it was written for me, but this feeling of being out of place but still feeling secure about the choices made and road to travel really feels like me.

Her latest album dates back from 2005, and she made some film music as I recall some years back. Apart from that, I don't know.

Love that Eels song Leo. Used to be a KB fan.. listened to kick Inside a lot... think she could do with lowering an octave or two now.

Michelle by the Beatles. My parents named me after it, so I suppose it is kind of written for me, or I am written for it. Tongue
