Wow, we had mandatory religious classes, but biology was all about evolution, since there are so many things being based on it.

He's Swedenborgian. I actually had to look that up, but they seem to be of a nicer brand, being encouraged to think for themselves to a certain extent and not being opposed to gay people.

As I said, I had to look it up too. The nasty part of me thought, he was just another fundamentalist of some sort and wanted to rub that in his face. But I was pleasantly surprised by the definition of his denomination.
