Youtube music
Lets add some music from youtube here, is that a good idea? First I'll add some orbital: Orbital - Technologicque Park - from the soundtrack to the movie 'xXx'
Its Just audio (but I think its totally amazing):

'Lush 3-1' Video:

'Satan' live in Glastonbury 2002 video:

And finally 'Halcyon and On and On' (Fans used a clip from the movie '2001 Space Odyssey' for a custom video of this version of the song):

Halcyon On and On is probably my favourite song ever.

No objection to music vids but none of those are my kind of music I'm afraid ... give me some Linkin Park, Trivium, Bullet, Atreyu, Godsmack, Evanescence and I'm happy Smile

And FWIW the 2001 clip looked and sounded a lot better with Johann Strauss's "Also Sprach Zarathustra" playing over it ... still it would be a dull, dull world if we all agreed on art wouldn't it?

I use Spotify for my music. Like iTunes only all the music is hosted on the internets Big Grin (It's legal as well).

Youtube's legal though right?

RE: Youtube music
Technically not since you are downloading music that isn't yours. I doubt they'd ever be able to prosecute anyone other than YouTube though.

There are some regulations regarding fair use policy, and of course some music companies actually have their own channels.

My contribution to this thread, music starts around 32 seconds in:

Lol!
I gotta tell you, I got hooked to Orbital's Music once I heard Halcyon On and On.
http://www.loopz.co.uk Orbital's website. They disbanded in 2004. They started in 1989.
1989-2004. They are an Electronica Duo. One of the bands considered responsible to bring 'Acid House' to the UK. They also did film soundtracks and make very enigmatic sounding music.
They are two brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll. P&P Hartnoll.
Paul now does music on his own and Phil is in a band with Nick Smith (who did the music to the opening credits to Hannibal).
The band is called Long Range. The song above Madness and Me, as you can see - is by Long Range.
In august 2009 Orbital are reforming to play together, they are headlining at The Big Chill. It will have been 20 years since they released their first song Chime in 1989.
I so hope I can afford to go. The tickets were on sale from december 1st this year. Its pretty expensive, but worth it! I never saw Orbital live sadly because I first heard about them in 2005 a year after they disbanded.
So I hope I will get to see them! I've seen Phil Hartnoll DJ in London once. And seen Long Range in London once. That was of course a lot cheaper than when Orbital will play when they headline the Big Chill! I can't remember how much it cost. But it wasn't as much as the tickets are for the Orbital performance. Which REALLY want to see (and hear of course!).

The Long Range track was good too, I'm gonna have to look into both bands more.

I just imagined myself going to see The Big Chill and meeting you there. "Hey EvidenceVsFaith!" Doesn't quite sound right in real life xD

Browsing that website now Smile
