All this reminiscing made me think of a heinous stat: The Steelers and the Seahawks meet next year. It will be the Seahawks' chance to score their first points against the Steelers since Super Bowl XL, or almost ten calendar years.

Yer goin down, biatch.

Ha. I remember 2005.

2005 season, but I was specifically talking about the game that was played on February 5th, 2006.

2007 and 2011 were shutouts, that's right. One was the day of my sister's wedding, and the other were the dark dark days of Tarvaris Jackson.

Grrr.

What could a Steelers fan possibly have to complain about regarding that game?

The only thing I could complain about is that you Seahawks fans haven't shut up about it since. Hence, I could never be a Seahawks fan. Tongue

We played well in the first half, and like shit in the second half. End of story.

I'm aware that a lot of Seattle fans complain about bad calls. Bad calls happen. The loss comes down to shitty play, not anything the officials did.

Seattle advances over Carolina 31-17.

I honestly did not expect Seattle to be within one game of a repeat trip to the Super Bowl back when we were 6-4 and facing a tough 6 game stretch.

This is strange, surreal territory no Seahawks fan has ever seen.

My Cowboys have a hard row to hoe ... the Packers are one hell of a team, and I'm thinking that Rodgers has had time to heal up a little. We definitely need to have our running game firing on all eight cylinders and keep him riding the bench and cold. They're statistically pretty soft against the ground game, so we've got a little hope -- keep their defense out there, cold and tired, and we will have a shot.

Then Seattle. [Image: 2jadz85_th.jpg]

Yep, pretty much. Whoever is left standing after that game, I hope is beat the hell up coming into Seattle. Big Grin

I don't care who it is. Seattle has a score to settle with both of them.
