Not surprisingly a lot of the reviews I'm seeing are comparing it to the Cecil b DeMille film. They have been compared and the new one has been found lacking. Which is sad, I like the Ten Commandments. It's a fun film, and I would love to see it updated.
The Charlton Heston version was pious prattle.
And even in that...god came across as a miserable prick. |
