That's about it. I think they tried to get hold of Mulder and Scully, but were told that they were fictional characters from a cancelled TV show - and as such, absolutely ideal for catching fictional vampires.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Oddly enough, they were in at least one episode with *real* fictional vampires.

Season two, I think. Can't remember which episode. I think that was a Mulder solo, with the X Files closed and the pair separated. It's another series I've got the whole DVD set of.

It always bothered me that scully was the sceptic yet retained an entirely irrational God belief. I know they did address this at some points, but it seemed weird to me.
