Challenge to christians: Satan wrote the bible

I'm gonna make a living as a satan apologist. It's too easy.

ROFLOL

You're either getting pretty desperate or your way in over your head here, huh?

Let me see if I can identify which by simplifying this even more.

In what we are discussing, The words satan and God are not names assigned to just one indivisual. They are titles assigned to what a given person identifies as the ultimate good or the ultimate evil.

Now because we are different your version of God will be my idea of satan, and your idea of satan will be my idea of God.

Do you understand why?

Because self righteousness will always have one justify his position as being moral or morally justifiable in some way whether it is or not. So this means even though God's righteousness is absolute, we will substitute it with our own version of righteousness, which will put us at odds with God. Now only the truly self righteous can then conclude that the creator is evil while the creation is 'moral'.

So for you to say the bible is written by satan means absolutly nothing. Why? Because from your perspective it has been. Now Because we do not share a world view your assignment of the title satan to God or the works of God only further PROOVES my pint here.

Now if your definations force you to make the determination That God is evil, then perhaps it is how you define the actions of God that should be questioned.
You have admitted that god defines good by virtue of being god. Therefore, his actions defy conventional definition to those who want to defend him. Now, for the person who says that any action sanctioned by god is good there is at least the benefit of consistency, even though it makes god out to be the most terrifying person to ever possibly exist.

For the typical theist --and that includes many here-- there are absolute morals, and there are god's actions, which can be moral or immoral. Good or evil. Some of those theists will attempt to place god on a separate moral plane, which is essentially the argument in my previous paragraph and leaves us with the same problem: that a god capable of any action but incapable of differentiating good from evil can and will do horrifically terrible things to people all the time, and their only recourse will be to praise him for it.

You guys may wonder why I hate your mythical god. I don't. I'm just glad he doesn't exist. Because I don't think that human imagination could conjure up a scarier monster than that.

Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. Here is my challenge. Can you prove me wrong?

I would say that as long as the Bible is used to establish truth by consensus that respects the free will and good for all equally, and resolves all contradictions and includes all things and explains everything in full,
what difference does it make who wrote it and who is imitating God.

If I were to kill Einstein and imitate him and teach the same science,
that science would still be valid and serve the same purpose.

Only if there were flaws in the science where Einstein would not have made errors would this make a difference. And same as now, when even the Bible is inspired by God and people interpret and apply it, there are still errors that have to be corrected by establishing a consensus on what is the consistent truth. That process would still go on, regardless who wrote the Bible and who claims to be impersonating or speaking on God's behalf.

If you weren't a slave you are lucky to be equal otherwise you are just a object seriously it took a non christian to end slavery but it took a christian to start slavery because the bible justified it.

I'm on your side Drich. I would never besmirch Satan's reputation by making him accountable for the deplorable deeds of God.

And we still have slavery going on today. It hasn't ended yet, and will take reorganizing communities on a local and global scale. Are you interested?

Common sense tells me it will take Christians and nonchristians, churches and governments, schools and businesses, charities and prisons all working together to handle the populations so people don't fall into poverty and get oppressed by others. It will take massive collaboration by all groups and all nations, to invest resources wisely to stop oppression and slavery, including restitution for crimes especially trafficking.

I don't think you quite get it enough... because you wouldn't be defending the bible if you know the rules about women and its very very disguising and horrible. Because well the middle east of all places follow biblical law and 13 year old girls get married and what more i should add despite there not being slavery well.. how should i put this.... if a christian nation were to exist in this age it would mirror modern day middle east. So yeah... there is nothing really good to take away from religion except the blatant obvious morals everyone should have already.
