By all means, question them. But I am assuming that by "question them" what they really mean is "teach woo in its place."
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

The only sensible way to question evolution is to ask: 'How stupid do people have to be not to grasp and accept this basic fact of science?'
The only question to ask regarding climate change is, 'Where should I buy property, so that my grandchildren will have the best chance of escaping the coastal inundation and loss of arable land?' But I suspect the bill doesn't want these to be the questions asked. Boru

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Let's just hope they don't get to question the laws of physics with the next bill.

Might as well pass a bill allowing teachers to do all the other things they are already legally allowed to do.

*Clears throat* As someone who is, in fact, currently a student, I would like to verify the fact that some teachers in my school question all sorts of things, yet do not question their faith.
