Depends on motivation, really. If he's being genuine that's one thing. But if he's being a nudge...then he deserves to get smacked down.

I think if someone, especially someone who cares about you, is deliberately annoying you, then that is grounds for complaint and discussion. So it's all a matter of intent.

I don't care much what words are used, it's the meaning behind them that matters.
