Fuck no.

Oh, yeah...just what the hell is puppet ministry?

Is that like a Jeff Dunham for Jesus type of thing?

A puppet ministry is teaching kids how to use puppets to teach and act out different lessons. We actually won a couple national events.

I was thinking more along the lines of, "show me on the puppet, where did the bad priest touch you?"

I don't know what surprises me more, that parents let you around their children with puppets or that there's a national competition for this.

This was for/with inner city kids 15 years ago. I've done a lot since.

(It's apart of the constant questioning and studying that I appearently never do) Just ask a question and pick a flavor of christianity and I will do my best to outline out line a topic as they would, and give you a response on it. Then We can take that belief and compare to the bible. Which will give you what my take is on a subject.

Without a doubt I make no claims on being mainstream as all the different versions of Christianity yield to a specific religious charter, creed, man, counsel, or commity for their beliefs. My beliefs and understandings while happen to align themselves with a specific church, are mine alone which makes me answerable to God for them. Which whether others realize it or not, we are all in that very same boat.

It would be interesting to see how well you can mimic believers from other versions of Christianity. But I wouldn't want you to waste your time that way. Smile

I would not mimic anyone. I have stated what specific groups believe in the past (catholic, Mormons, Calvinists, muslims, jews ect...) and discussed it that way. I don't pretend to be them.

I think most forums welcome anyone, as long as they all talk to each other civilised.

You clearly have not been to a theist forum. Most of them will ban you just for mentioning your atheism in your introduction thread.

Even if you can somehow get around to creating a thread after the introduction, you are most likely to be banned simply for debating civilly against their beliefs.

Theists on theistic forums are not known for their tolerance. They cannot and will not tolerate opposition to their beliefs. They expect atheists to swallow their crap as though it is wisdom.

You think I'm an asshole and woke up this morning looking to for an arguement.. (You tend to project your short comings onto those you don't like..)

Looking for an argument? Not hardly. But certainly not willing to give you a pass, undeserved as it is.

If you want respect, you'll have to earn it. You've yet to do so, and I doubt you will, given as you are to dishonesty. However, imagining that I think of you any time I'm away from this forum is sheer egotism -- read pride -- on your part. What does your "good book" say about pride?

A "puppet ministry" -- how rich is that? What a beautiful play on words, probably unintentional. How fitting ... puppet.

Is there a Christian forum where atheists are welcomed to discuss their views and debate without being banned for their atheistic views?

Any forum will take atheists. I know Catholic answers forums and OrthodoxChristianity. Net
does.

This isn't the case, really. You need not believe me; sign up to a Christian forum as an atheist, and post as such. See how long you last.
