And if the pastor acknowledges a world at least 100,000 years old, we have ourselves yet ANOTHER fucking blaspheming apostatic heretic with diarrhea of the mouth.
Hey Christers !!! Clean up on aisle 6, another fucktard pastor has gone off the reservation.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Without that new Commandment showing up immediately giving an OK on Scripture cherry picking, there ain't gonna be too many Christers making the cut.

Ah, PHEW!! This is a different eclipse than the one I've been anticipating (the August 2017 one that I've been looking forward to since, like, the '90s) - you scared me!!
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.

Always amuses me that the fact that an eclipse is very local (as in very northern europe in this case) seems to not register in these pastors prophesies.
Nobody in North America will even glimpse any of this eclipse yet pastor Blitz gives it some kind of global significance and warning from god. Seems like god favours those on the Southern fringes of Iceland and the, erm 2,700 people of Svalbard this time. The rest of the world don't deserve this warning and can just get a big fucking surprise instead.

Solar Eclipse. Science vs Pastor perspective

Of course, god helped this poster see the eclipse - from my favourite christian forum;
So I had been praying all week for a clear day today for the solar eclipse… but when I woke up I saw that it was cloudy. My faith did not waiver, until… the “show” started at 9:30am my time, and about 9:25 I was getting bummed and went to the weather map. Clouds everywhere! I asked the Lord if I had some hidden sin and didn’t understand. Then about half an hour later, someone from the office yelled “LOOK! The eclipse!” It was still cloudy out, but when I looked, this is what I saw:
Picture of eclipse in break of clouds.
I repented of my doubt and asked forgiveness and the Lord said, “You didn’t have special glasses to see, so I provided clouds for you!” Glory to God, He is sooooo good, even when we don’t deserve it.
Which prompted the stomach churning reply;
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing this wonderful event, and the words that God said to you! They brought tears to my eyes as i think about God's wonderful grace! And the fact that God loved you so much that He protected your eyes, and still enables you to see the eclipse. What a mighty God we serve!
These people share the planet with us and have children.

So god gives enough shits to make the sky cloudy for one shithead who forgot the special glasses and spoils the fun for everyone who had the glasses? Fuck justice, just pray for a week and get what you want! Awesome!

It's more the childlike manner how they put their belief into words that gets me. And god actually told him that because he didn't have glasses he protected his eyes with clouds - fuck me. He 'd soon be down the optician if he suffered some retinal scarring I bet - why not let your god fix that up as well.

With such a level of superstitiousness and ignorance that pastor would have been at home in the actual socienty of the Old Testament Biblical times.
