How is this a thing?

RE: How is this a thing?
It really comes to something when Pacman is going to give a more convincing performance in a film than the lead actor.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

My buddy showed this to me a few years ago:

I wonder if it inspired the movie at all.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

It's not just that. Whenever he produces a movie(he has his own studio), we wind up with uninspired and juvenile attempt to appeal to the lowest common denominator. It's like he has no understanding of film-making beyond what a thirteen year-old boy can grasp.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Looks like it did. From the trailer alone the Pong bit and the Donkey Kong bit seem to match what the film did. Although what else do you do with those games? It seems obvious that Donkey Kong's gonna be on the Empire State Building and Pong is going to destroy some buildings with the ball. I think it's the Taj Mahal in the movie rather than the Brooklyn Bridge.

I love the Tetris part of that video. The idea that when you complete a row, the entire floor of the building disappears is phenomenal!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
