Should I Get Pen Tablet?

The digitizer that reacts to only the special unpowered pen is patented. Wacom does not license it. So a third party can only make due with a battery-powered pen.
While they are trying to make a lousy solution work better, Wacom can spend it's time further perfecting their induction driven pen. I was actually wondering whether or not their pen was battery powered like my sister's pen tablet by Genius. I'm glad I won't have to worry about buying batteries for the pen with Wacom.
