Shoutbox leaking into forum

What I'm getting right now is, on the main forum page, full size avatars of people in the shoutbox. They 'leak' down the left side and cover some of the section heading text.
Any ideas what/if I can do?

On Chrome, in case it matters.

Refresh the page.  Shouldn't happen again after that.

I had that, too, refreshed and it's been working ever since.
