Of course, it would have to take a cultural phenomenon that actually could be a contender, and the only possible thing I can think of is Harry Potter.

John Lennon = Legend.

What he said was actually very harmful to the Beatles though, as it meant that because of religious opposition in America they pretty much had to stop touring there! Sad
