It’s only a sin if you do it OUTSIDE of your home.

Interestingly, the passage in the Bible only infers that men shouldn’t be masturbating…’wasting their seed,’ so to speak.
So, guess it’s fair game for women.  Angel

Now here's a theological conundrum:

can Anusius bless God's asshole ??

It all depends on how you interpret the story of Onan spilling his seed and whether masturbation was considered part of 'pornea'. The pleasure derived from the sexual organs serves to both motivate men and women to join in productive unions and to strengthen the marital bond. According to natural law, masturbation is considered an abuse of the natural function of the genetalia, since it is not conducive to either.

Seriously, Chadzmo?  According to natural law?   How did you define natural law?  What was your criteria for determining whether something follows it?

It's only abuse if you're not doing it right.

A common view I have heard from Christians is that masturbation is o.k. but pornography is not o.k.

In the good old days of Christianity, even married couples were discouraged from having sex. Asceticism was a big deal. Christianity was turning-upside down the natural laws of societies by teaching that people should ignore this life for the next life, blah blah blah blah blah blah...

I wonder what Judaism teaches about masturbation? I believe Islam is quite strict.

This is coming from a time when it was considered a man's right to screw his woman whenever he wanted, and if you don't have a woman you can go out and get you one pretty easily. So what's the point in masturbating? Especially when most people were dropping like flies for a myriad of reasons anyway. Most people didn't live very long, and that farm doesn't till itsself. What are you wasting valuable seed for?

You have to masturbate into a goat orifice, and then sell the goat to a neighboring tribe.

I would have thought hard core pornography would be better for aiding masturbation than Christianity.

Saying that, Christianity can be pretty kinky.

I don't know if there is any medical value for women (except psychologically and that I can attest to) but frequent ejaculation is one of the best ways to prevent prostate cancer.  Masturbation five or more times a week is very good for men. Twenty-one times a month is the threshold for best results. Harvard Medical School  New Scientist (both articles link the same two studies).   It would seem to me that following natural law ought be make you healthy not increase your risk of cancer. Angel So, it would seem to me that unless a guy has a woman readily available at all times that masturbation is a very good thing.  Naturally good in fact.
