There can never be enough capitalism, and can always be less socialism. You have your priorities reversed.

Capitalism and socialism are not necessarily independent. More socialism can be quite nice though. Especially if it philosophically and socially aware socialism.

The word "no" just doesn't seem to sum it up well enough.

No sir. I contend it is you who have priorities reversed. Note I did not say 'your' priorities as I'm sure you have YOUR priorities (read: me me me, to hell with the rest of you) right where you want them. The collective priorites of society is what I would be refering to.

Refer...... hmmmm. Ya, I think it's time for some of that.

RE: Should I hide my atheism?
I saw a video not too long ago of a kid telling his mom and dad he didn't believe in god. She yelled at him and told him he's not getting any christmas presents. Then she told him something to the likes of "that's it, we're going to church every sunday from now on". It would have been very funny if it wasn't so pathetic and real. So basically, if the type of environment you're in is similar to what that poor kid had to deal with, I understand why you'd be hesitant to tell anyone, at least publicly. But that kid was about 14 years of age and still completely dependent on his moronic parents. If you're old enough to be independent (or join the military), then you shouldn't worry about public disapproval. Just my 2 cents.
