First off, I cannot express how glad I am to have found a place full of like-minded people with whom I can hold intellectual conversations with. Now for the actual introduction:
My name is Jack. I am currently 21 years old and am a member of the United States Navy. As you can imagine, most people in the military (especially those overseas) turn to religion in order to get through all of the hardships and nonsense that occurs on a daily basis. So obviously it is hard for people like me to find others that don't cringe when I answer them honestly about my lack of faith.
The main thing you should know about me is that I love to talk. This passion ranges from friendly conversation to heated debates. I especially love it when I am able to have a long conversation with someone with views that differ my own. I don't push Atheism on to people or go out of my way to disprove the religion of others, but I like to talk about my views when asked.
Other than that, I enjoy meeting new people, so please don't hesitate to get to know me, as I will attempt to do the same with people on here.
