So innocent people get killed in warfare. What else is new?

The point was that getting killed in crossfire and being targeted for no good reason are completely different things. Troops on the ground wouldn't have made that mistake; they can easily see that the people were carrying cameras, not guns.
Sure, innocent people will get in firefights between US forces and Iraqis, but there isn't any reason to open fire on a group of individuals who have done nothing and are not armed. Then to fire on the vehicle at the end when it hadn't done anything? It's pathetic.

But with these precision weapons that have less colateral damage, then those crossfire kills will be replaced by mistaken kills.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Cowboy gunners absolutely. They were not under direct attack, and therefore had plenty of time to identify properly. They made available evidence fit their desires in order to enhance their 'kill-score', and then fired on what was an ambulance. At no time did anyone shoot back. You could id the kids in the van. The gunner was willing the guy who survived to pick something up, just so he could shoot him again. Precision? F*****g animals. Those are PEOPLE down there, not just fkn pixels.

They shot the people trying to save the wounded?! WHAT. THE. FUCK.
That is one of the most ridiculous videos i've ever seen... and among the most disturbing.

Firing upon the ambulance that was taking away the wounded is a warcrime.
The gunner saying "C'mon buddy, all you need to do is pick up a weapon"
The fact that ground troops were 100m away.
The fact that they are using fucking gunships on civvies?
The fact that this is a warzone, so it is expect people may have weapons on them for self defense from insurgents?
