Parents pay for what they did as teenagers by having teenagers of their own Karma?

Well, I consider my musical taste to be better than what the rest of me generation enjoys. Here I am, listening to Led Zeppelin and Metallica while people I went to school with post videos of Nicki Minaj and Kanye West.

you can never go wrong with Zep or Metallica...but i must say I feel old when people say they remember their parents listening to Abba and the Bee Gees in the car. Yes I listened to disco and will listen to it still. My preference is the old fashion head banging rock

Maybe disco will be mine when I am older
I am actually very eclectic when it comes to music. I love pretty much everything from Beyonce to Tchaikovsky. I just don't like metal or hard rock
What about you?
In all fairness I listened to ABBA and other disco, it's what there was also The Eagles, Billy Joel, and Queen. I also liked what was then classic 60's rock, and folk music. I listened to Simon and Garfunkel and the Weavers.
My kids don't really have bad taste in music, they just have a tendency to play the same thing over and over once they've discovered it. Super Trouper five times an afternoon is four times too many.

Genetics and household culture.
I'm getting off easy. I was wild, but their father wasn't.

I won't be the devil's advocate although I'm tempted by defending Nicki or Kanye because honestly I prefer a week of silence or church camp over listening to their music at any given time or day.
But I think music taste is very personal. For the most part, I think is about identification except when it comes to Beyonce because then IDK what comes over me but I just wanna dance.

Just four? When I discovered Abba it'd be more like 14 and I'm starting to feel some regret already
60's rock, as in, The Beatles for example?

Let's hope they take on their father's side?

I am not aware of any clock in my body and I really hope there isn't one or I'll need a solid explanation

I cleverly avoided that problem by not having any children. My home is peaceful and quiet, at least when I want it to be.
