This just makes me depressed.....
My kid is only 7 and already speaks some conversational German (I'm learning with her). I hope she gets a chance to go abroad when she is older, and not fall into the mental trap that the US is the greatest country ever to exist.

Nothing credible with this garbage. What about it in particular do you disagree with? For one, the article cites the "Center for Economic and Policy Research". The CEPR is a leftwing group that's funded by the former Nazi, turned billionaire leftist, George Soros and his Open Society Institute. Their research can't be trusted since it's skewed to favor leftist policies. http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/viewS...sp?id=1237 Quote:Prominent supporter of, and apologist for, former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/group...grpid=7226 The CEPR also lauds obamacare as being good for small businesses while others say obamacare is bad for small busineses.... http://www.forbes.com/sites/sallypipes/2...employees/ Quote:Obamacare -- Bad for Employers, Bad for Employees On the one hand, the leftist group, CEPR, says obamacare is good for small businesses and employees, while other research says that obamacare will hurt small businesses and employees. The only good thing to come out of obamacare was that it cost the democrats the mid-term elections. "The Raw Story" is a leftist publication that has a skewed and credibility problem... Quote:“The Raw Story” has an honesty problem. Despite their claim to be a bastion of independent and progressive journalism, they have repeatedly shown that they will throw honest reporting and journalistic integrity out the window if it helps them sell a phony, prepackaged, sensationalist narrative to their gullible readers. And they have–repeatedly–shown that they prefer to silence any voices which challenge the prejudices and petty bigotries of the people who work there. http://www.avoiceformen.com/feminism/exp...-rawstory/

Not according to the birthers, it ain't.
My views on universal health care changed after talking with Europeans online so you don't automatically have to travel overseas to have your views changed radically. The internet is opening up the world for many people that are too broke to travel.
