So, how is your censorship of me any different from the alleged abuses of the Catholic Church which you hate?
I lold so hard at rules with quotation marks
Also, Randy that word, censorship... I don't think it means what you think it means

What veil, Iro?
Were you and your mates simply pushing my buttons to see how long it would be before I pushed back? Who won the pool?
No, nothing like what you imagine. I'm just pointing out becca's petty abuse of her authority as she tries to intimidate me.
My suspicion is that while you and everyone else are free to mock me and Jesus, the thin-skinned among you will not tolerate being treated in kind.
We'll see. Maybe I will be surprised, but I suspect that somewhere emails are being exchanged and a "quorum" convened.

Rome beat Hannibal without Jesus, and I trust that if necessary, we'll do the same (but much more expeditiously, one Punic war is all we'll need)
So, if Catholics crusade against the Muslims, that's just another example of what's wrong with Christianity (or all religion), but if atheists go to war with muslims, that's okay?
Well, since you will never achieve the end you desire on the strength of your arguments, might as well try to win by force.
Quote:Hey did you know, some scholars think St. Augustine was gay:
"Some scholars believe that St. Augustine was gay. This assertion is based in part on a passage from Confessions about a man he knew as youth. "I felt that his soul and mine were 'one soul in two bodies' and therefore life without him was horrible. I hated to live as half of a life." After the man's death Augustine said he contemplated suicide but “I feared to die, lest he should die wholly whom I had loved so greatly.""

Why do Catholic priests fetishize little boys? Here's what happened that time they went over 13 years old (keeping in mind condoms are a sin in Catholic dogma):

Isn't it ironic that you (ab)use your authority in this forum to shut me up while atheists like yourself are constantly screaming that the Catholic Church was guilty of doing the same thing to pagans and non-Catholics in the early Church?
So, how is your censorship of me any different from the alleged abuses of the Catholic Church which you hate?
Oh please...
Your arguments are nothing we haven't heard before, nor are they any more supported by evidence or reasoned argument than any other theist that posts here.
Quote:That is possible.
Alternatively, it is possible that you are living in darkness and cannot see what I see.
If only you had demonstrable evidence and reasoned argument to support that claim.
And no, the Bible is not evidence, it is the claim.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

So did you look at the link I posted at all? The one that disproves your shrill persecution fantasies?
You're down to two options: willful ignorance, or pure dishonesty.
That, or you could retract your utterly pathetic claims. But I don't think you'll do that; it hurts you too much to admit wrongdoing, I bet.

And, as I told SteelCurtain by PM a day or so ago, I am happy to abide by your rules. He was most eloquent and very polite in his correspondence with me. I wish more people like him were active in this forum.
I HAVE read the rules, but there must be something that I do not understand because becca, God bless her, seems to think that I'm some sort of a scoff-law.
Is the posting of scripture the problem? And is this true even if the question is specifically about scripture or best answered by the Word of God?
Please advise. Thanks.

Francis Scott Keys' first name was also Francis (he was an Episcopalian), as was Francis Bacon (who urged for the execution of Mary, the Catholic Queen of the Scots)
