I know someone has to listen to it. Death, black, etc.

i don't much like black metal, but i do like swedish melodic death metal.
Here are my favorites: Solution .45: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z74WRILc8aU Soilwork: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcXVnyiQjBE Opeth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvLn8j4c5l4 Scar symmetry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mebSi4PDC34 and lots of others.
I love Opeth, great sound.
Recently a friend of mine gave me a CD of a befriended Polish band called Behemoth, also very enjoyable. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wotaEqL2mzI

My son used to play guitar in his room....at least I think he was "playing" it....he may well have been wrestling with it.
He told me that he would name his first album after me. He'd call it "TURN THAT SHIT DOWN" Fucking horrible. RE: "extreme" metal?

lol, Minimalist.
I love Opeth as well, and I've been listening to "Bloodhymns" by Necrophobic. It has a nice melodic ring to it. I suppose it can be described as melodic blackened death metal for those of you into the "specific labels". Regarding Behemoth, did you guys hear about Nergal's (Behemoth's mastermind) conviction in Poland's court for tearing a christian bible? He said he's not guilty due to his artistic rights to assert his non-belief of god (and he didn't hurt anyone). The court wants to throw him in jail for two years.
Children of Bodom. Vesania. Dimmu Borgir. Mastodon. Old Man's Child. Septic Flesh. Epica. Swallow the Sun. Blahblah, many more.
Apparently there are not a lot of opera fans around here?
I have fallen in with satanic children!!! I have a fundie friend who thinks it is hysterical that the only time I'll go into a church is to hear Handel's Messiah.
