I don't get it.  I'm not a big fan of the band but I listen to stuff like the following, and it seems to have the right stuff: well-constructed form, a raspy voice, and a melody with both a hook and enough variation to provide interest.  It's certainly no worse than a thousand other pop songs.  Are you sure you're not just getting on a bandwagon here? Tongue

My understanding is that all the paintings are by Rothko, and that Schoenberg used the series as inspiration for each movement.

Thats one those songs.

Like what I was talking about earlier with The Killers, an ok song that is taken and then ruined by how overplayed to fuck it gets.

Sometimes I don't hate the song itself, I just hate hearing it all the time. Makes it irritating and generic.
