I love Britney so much but I just don't see it for Iggy. I think her lyrics are sub-par, and I don't think her fake put-on African American accent is something an "original" artist would do. I think if she had more originality and confidence in her music she'd rap in her own Australian accent.

I hate trash metal, Metallica, Manowar, dub-step and Bulgarian Gipsy music (a.k.a CHALGA) - the abomination below:

Rap and Hip Hop.
Especially when they do remakes of classic songs. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" 
How can you love death metal and *hate* thrash, when the two subgenres are so closely related and more or less form a continuum?

While I don't dislike hip hop a priori, it is true that in the urban US one can't help but be overexposed to shitty rap music.
True story: we were in manhattan on a saturday night, in some club, with friends, and all they played was sucky gangsta rap. A metally inclined friend and me ended up leaving and walking the neighborhood, on a mission to find a place with good beer and decent rock music. An hour later we found what felt like the only place not playing hip hop in the city. We payed the cover charge and went in. On the bar, a guy in a cop uniform was getting a blowjob from some big fella, and on the stage another guy was stripping to 80s hard rock. Good times...
