If I were at home, I would be drinking Laphroaig 10yo or Talisker. Alas, my stash is far away

I'm eating a fresh baby and plotting to further subvert traditional family values.

I also have a spindle in my butthole.

I see, your butthole is doing its part!

And you imagine that not being at home means you should not be drinking Scotch.  Hang your head in shame.  Unless, of course, you are drinking German beer or doing some other worthwhile thing (like drinking wine), in which case, you for forgiven.  But even in your part of the world, there should be a weekend, so that you should be drinking, and not wasting your time with work or some other waste of time.

When I visited Germany, Germans worked hard, but they also played hard.  Do not grow soft and turn your back on tradition.

I had my first Weissbier for breakfast today. I presume that should suffice to leave you satisfied Tongue

Does anybody remember Wall of Voodoo (LastPoet don't answer. I don't care if you know the band)? I'm listening to them.

It is a good start to the day.  But it is not enough to sustain someone for an entire day.  What is it that you are doing, that you are not at home on a weekend, yet are online, and not drinking?  Oh wait, we are not supposed to be asking questions.  You, however, have corrupted me, as one can see in your question.  Please allow me to rephrase things.  It is a mystery, what you are doing, that you are not at home on a weekend, yet are online, and not drinking.  So, no, I am not satisfied, if all you have had is some beer for breakfast.  You should have something for lunch as well.  And dinner.  You really seem like you are taunting Dionysos, and are risking his mighty wrath.

When I visited Germany many years ago, I remember that some of the youth were corrupt, and were not drinking as their elders did.  I liked their elders, who appreciated what matters in life.

Now, I do appreciate the fact that you had a wheat beer.  It is something good, that more Americans should experience.  So, a small sin of omission can be forgiven for that, but you really should avoid antagonizing Dionysos.  You do not want him to punish you.
