Hold on, the original topic statement issue is being side tracked here. I have stated that the population issue of low numbers is an major problem in the world to day, in many nations. Even Times did an article on the United States population declining as well as CNN about Europe and Japan`s population decline. Many newspapers, journals, books, articles, and tv reports have been made and talked about the issue.

Throughout the world many nations have had very little to no increase of its population that it is adding to the current issues. I gave the example of the off set of the sex ratio of boys to girls, were there are more boys then girls in the nation of China and India. The Jews people have not fully reached their numbers before the holocaust and since the time of the Black death in Europe, (western Europe) their populations has never really reached its numbers before that time period before the Black Death plague.

I had even said that there are many factors as to the cause of these population decline. I had stated that many things, such as, people just not having children, to war, sicknesses. Yes, even famine and migration can also be add along with many different factors to the cause.

The only issue with your hypothesis is that the planets population is not actuall declining, it is increasing.

You are misunderstanding population growth with the rate of population growth. The latter is declining. It was exponential, now it is not.

This all seems to be, "Homosexuals are a drain on society. Since we can't just go around killing them like in the good old days, we should fuck with them as much as possible in irritating ways. That's better than nothing."

What does any of this have to do with marriage? Even if he could establish (which he can't) that gays negatively impact society why would marriage make a difference? It's not like if you stop gay marriage, you put end to homosexuality.

Population is an issue because of the debate both Aristocatt and Anima are having. Aristocatt's argument is based on the world being overpopulated and consuming to much. Therefore, there is a need to low the current population. Anima is saying that one need to keep in mind of the possibility of population declining in the future. To which I am saying the population IS ALREADY declining.

Now Aristocatt is saying Anima's argument is not only worng but has no ground base of his argument because it can never or not be. Thus any argument to show that the population is decline would not only make Anima's argument no longer wrong but has standing.

This is what I understand to be the just of the issue.

No argument to be had. The majority 5 were correct,. Only a childish xenophobic asshole would object to the concept of equal protection under the law. The same bigoted doomsday arguments were made against women wanting the right to vote. Same arguments were made to defend segregation and bans on interracial marriage. Bigotry is not an argument.

The legality of marriage between couples of the same sex has no effect on the growth of the human population. Zero. None. It's a non-argument.
