The same way the left does. They're far more organized than Conservatives and their propaganda machine is definitely effective. Unlike the cowardice that's displayed by Republican office holders, the radical left isn't afraid to wrestle in the mud and sling dirt. They've had years of experience slinging dirt and at bullying and intimidating those they disagree with. The left also makes good use of electronic networking, through twitter and facebook, i.e. Circulate online petitions the same way the left does. Recently when Trump made controversial comments against a particular group of illegals the left was all over it through online petitions and intimidating businesses and tv networks who did business with him. The right should retaliate in the same way, respond with organized boycotts of businesses like Macy's for caving in to leftwing intimidation. Electronic networking is probably the best and fastest way to start an organization process. Also, being vocal and public is another way to get media attention. The media loves controversy. Take advantage of speaking at city council meetings and other public forums. Those are some ideas.
Im confused, what cause are you looking to petition against or for?

Yes I read the convo, but I still don't understand what specific cause you are looking to petition? Your saying the right needs to organize, petition and boycott businesses, which is fine but for what reason?

Here's how the conversation and the response followed on the previous page...
Quote:Dystopia Wrote: You are right A Theist, no one is forcing religious people to recognize same-sex union/marriages - The only legal obligation is tolerance - You can't stop people from marrying whoever they want - This is not an infringement on religious freedom - That would be forcing churches to marry gay couples, but that isn't going to happen as churches are independent from the government's control. I'm all for freedom, so if you don't want to bake cakes to gay weddings be my guest, just know that it can hurt your business and you are morally responsible for the economic consequences of refusing to serve a gay couple.

Glad you raised that point. That's another issue of concern. Bullying and harassment of business owners who disagree with gay marriage. In response, shouldn't it also be equally fair for those who oppose gay marriage to organize and return the favor to businesses who support it?
Dystopia raised the issue that businesses and business owners who oppose gay marriage could suffer economic consequences for doing so. I responded by asking that since business owners who are subject to bullying and harassment for opposing gay marriage, " shouldn't it also be equally fair for those who oppose gay marriage to organize and return the favor to businesses who support it?"
Dystopia asked how I proposed that happening...
hence my response...

basically, using the left's own tactics against them when they harass and bully those who disagree with them, whether the issue may be over gay marriage or illegal immigration, i.e.

A Theist, my point wasn't that people who don't want to serve same-sex couples should be bullied, but that inevitably they'll suffer the economic consequences of their actions - If you refuse to serve black people, locals will see you as a racist and if the population is anti-racist they will avoid doing business with you. When you refuse to serve gay people, you become an appealing business to other devout Christians and religious people but you lose your credibility to people who are gay or support same-sex marriage and make a big deal about it.
Honestly I don't give a shit about what a baker believes or who he/she discriminates against as long as the service is good, but many people will not feel comfortable doing business with someone who discriminates against gays. You are free as an American to organize your marketing and propaganda as you please, but my point is that you are responsible for the consequences of your actions, and because western nations are essentially free nations, no one is forced to do business with you, so what happens to your reputation is up to you.

I knew what you meant. Your point just reminded me of a few businesses and business people who had already been harassed and bullied by pro gay marriage activists. There was a lady, I forget the name now, who owned a restaurant that had to shut her business down because of threats she received after she said she had an issue with catering gay weddings. I think there may have been a thread here on the forum about it. My point is, that those who are being harassed and bullied for opposing gay marriage, or any other cause the left champions, shouldn't have to be afraid to voice their opinions or to be afraid to exercise their religious freedoms. But, I knew what you meant.

If their views are negatively affecting the business they chose to start, maybe they should think about changing their views, or at least not publicly stating them.

If someone wants to shoot themselves in the foot by deliberately pushing their beliefs into their business, why is it anybody else's problem?

I don't support people changing their mind because of business because it's just not going to happen - They can, however (if they love the green!) hide it and just be impartial. It works for a lot of people.
