So I just re-entered college pursuing my second Bachelor's degree for a belated start in a career I actually am excited about.
I went to a college where everyone was a 4.0 student, class president, sports team captain. Getting into a service academy is only slightly easier than getting into MIT or Harvard. The acceptance rate is lower, in any case. So I was constantly around people that were my intellectual peers.
I am now attending a state college, and it is a totally different experience. Not that everyone is stupid---far from it. I'm just in a different league than I'm used to. And it's...nice. Even something as simple as this GenEd History class that I am taking right now (Naval History apparently doesn't count as an American History course) has me stifling myself from answering the prof's questions to the class all the time, if only just to break the silence.
I'm just saying. I got this.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
